Australia's healthcare facilities are getting on with the job of transitioning to healthier transport.

On Sunday 28 May, North Metropolitan Health Service in Perth held a Ride for Life event, hosted in conjunction with Ride For Their Lives and Climate Acceptance Studios.

The aim of the day was to raise awareness among WA Health staff members about climate change and its health impacts on the WA population.

This event was the first of its kind in Australia. 170+ staff registered for the day.

The event was opened by Dr Shirley Bowen, NMHS Chief Executive, and Simon Millman, Parliamentary Secretary to the WA Minister for Health. Read more here.
